No School Today?
Indoor Play for No-School Days in Waukesha
When school’s out and the weather won’t cooperate, bring the kids to Planet of Play. Three play zones for ages 0 to 12, 60 to 120 minutes of climbing, sliding and bouncing, and good coffee for the grown-ups.

Days Off, Covered
The Days Kids Are Home
Planet of Play is open seven days a week, so a day off school doesn’t mean a day stuck inside the house.
Teacher in-service days
Single days off scattered through the school year, usually when grown-ups still have to work around them.
Parent-teacher conferences
Short days and days off that land mid-week, when a regular weekday visit fits.
Thanksgiving break
A long weekend with cousins in town and energy to burn.
Winter break
Two weeks when it’s too cold for the park and everyone needs a place to move.
Spring break
A week off that doesn’t always come with spring weather.
Dates change every year. Check the School District of Waukesha family calendar or your own district’s calendar for this year’s days off.
Make the Most of It
Tips for a No-School Day Visit
- Days off school tend to be busy. Arriving earlier in the day usually means more room to play.
- Choose 60, 90 or 120 minutes of play — the longer ticket fits nicely between breakfast and lunch or after a nap.
- Everyone on the play surface needs socks. Bring your own or grab a pair at the front desk.
- Play is for kids 51″ and under, so check heights before you go. Grown-ups get in free with a paying child.
- Weather or holiday changes to our hours are posted at the top of this site and on Google before you head out.
